Supplier B's headline price is lowest, but it omits delivery and tax, so TradeMind excludes it from the like-for-like comparison and suggests asking for both.

The rules it works under
Reads your request, keeps your words
The model extracts items, quantities and delivery details. A rule in code removes any quantity or budget that does not appear in what you wrote.
Asks instead of guessing
Missing specifications become clarifying questions, not invented values. Assumptions are listed separately for you to accept or edit.
Matches on declared data
Supplier ranking is deterministic and explainable: categories, listings, coverage and minimum order. The model never declares a supplier capable of something they haven't stated.
Explains differences from the records
Comparison summaries are generated only from the structured quotation fields, and must name what is missing before naming what is cheaper.
Treats documents as data
Supplier text and buyer descriptions are passed to the model as data. Instructions hidden inside them cannot trigger actions.
Never acts on your behalf
AI prepares drafts. Publishing, inviting, submitting a quotation and selecting a supplier always require a person with the right role.
When information is missing, it says so.
A quotation that leaves out delivery or tax can look cheaper than one that includes them. TradeMind never treats an unstated charge as zero. The offer is flagged, kept out of the “lowest comparable” calculation, and a ready-made request for the missing details is one click away.
The same rule runs everywhere: a filter value a supplier never provided is not invented, a certification a supplier hasn't confirmed is shown as unconfirmed, and a verification badge only appears when a reviewer has recorded the check.
